Meeting Overview

Join local business owners, community leaders, and residents for our August Chamber gathering at 1481 Roadhouse Grille. This meeting will include networking, drinks, a meal, Chamber updates, and a special guest speaker focused on issues that matter to small-town businesses and communities.

We are pleased to welcome State Senator Casey Crabtree for a conversation on South Dakota’s business climate, economic development, workforce, housing, infrastructure, energy, and how local communities can stay connected with what is happening in Pierre.

All Chamber members and interested community members are welcome.

Featured Speaker

State Senator Casey Crabtree represents District 8, which includes Brookings, Kingsbury, Lake, and Miner counties.

Senator Crabtree brings a strong background in economic development and has served in leadership roles in the South Dakota Senate, including as Senate Majority Leader.

Casey will connect directly to Chamber members and the Arlington area: supporting local business, growing small-town economies, workforce and housing needs, infrastructure, energy, and how communities can make sure their priorities are heard at the state level.

This will be a great opportunity to hear a legislative update, ask questions, and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing businesses and communities in our region.
