Arlington Days is more than just a weekend festival—it’s a spirited tribute to everything that makes Arlington, South Dakota feel like home. From community parades and friendly sports tournaments to unique crafts and local food vendors, this annual celebration has something for everyone.
Parade & Tractor Show
Don’t miss the Parade complete with classic tractors, fun floats, and free candy.Experience local pride and agricultural heritage during the Tractor Show, where vintage farm machines take center stage.
Sporting Competitions
From the Softball Tournament and 5K Color Blast Run/Walk/Bike to the quirky Blind Golf Cart Races, there’s no shortage of fun ways to challenge yourself and bond with friends—new or old.
Fishing Derby
Make a splash at Lake Arlington with our Fishing Derby. Ideal for introducing youngsters to the joys of angling, this event draws families for a morning of friendly competition and picturesque views.
Pancake Feed & Vendor Show
Start Saturday with a tasty Pancake Feed Fundraiser at the American Legion. After breakfast, head to City Park for a Vendor Show featuring handcrafted goods, local eats, inflatables, and an animal nursery—fun for all ages.
Reunions & Main Street Fun
Catch up with old classmates at the All-School Reunion, then explore Main Street where you’ll find delicious local fare, live music, and an exciting Bean Bag Tournament Fundraiser. There might even be a Family-Friendly Comedian performance to top off the night.
Church Service & Community Picnic
Wrap up the festivities on Sunday with a peaceful Church Service in the park, followed by a Community Picnic. Enjoy a final chance to mingle with friends, family, and guests before the weekend concludes.

We are beginning to plan a 1980 class reunion. What time is the parade on Saturday? are there other events scheduled that afternoon or evening? Thanks.
Last year’s parade started at 1:30pm with line up starting 12:30pm. With a new committee and line up, this could change but probably not more than 30 minutes either way. Our first Arlington Days Committee is tonight!
